Manager, Merchandising Tommy Jeans, Brand Management, TH China


This position is created to strengthen our buying capability due to business growth and retail share increase. This position will be mainly responsible for retail product performance and inventory management.


  • Collect opinions from customers and sales team on design, fitting, feature, and price. Understand market needs and competitor products, gather market requirements and give feedback to regional merchandising team.
  • Come up with merchandising plan to maximize sales growth opportunity and resources effectiveness to meet financial and strategy target.
  • Select suitable products to be introduced into the market, optimize product mix.
  • Develop and recommend pricing for the collections /categories.
  • Organize fashion show in China market week.
  • Be responsible for retail/consignment buying plan.
  • Work closely with regional merchandising team, update market need, market feedback timely.
  • Work closely with VM and Marketing team to ensure smooth implementation and confident support of new product launch by providing necessary training and documentation.
  • Work with sales team to ensure new product launch plan well executed and well communicated to internal and external customers.
  • Organize product training for retail sales team and franchise buyers.
  • Analyze retail sell through , identify fast moving /slow moving items in different retail cities, initiate appropriate actions to maximize sell through and improve stock efficiency.
  • Come up with mark down plan at the end of season.
  • Inventory control.
  • Responsible for person developing.

  • DECISION-MAKING: Makes good decisions based on analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment; knowledgeable in current and future policies, practices, trends and information related to Finance. Strong analytical skills and ability to digest multiple variables while making timely decisions.
  • CREATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING: Looks to broadest possible view of an issue or challenge; uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective tactics.


  • At least 8 years hands-on experience of merchandising, preferably in fashion band.
  • Already holding a Management position with qualified leading skills.

  • Experience gained in multi-national companies is highly preferred
  • Can work under high pressure and have time management skill
  • Strong communication skills, open minded
  • Strong fashion sense
  • Good presentation skill

Education: University graduate in Business Administration related majors
