Manager, Change Management

The Change Management Manager is responsible for managing and supporting projects from a change management perspective to include the following areas: training, communication and execution of change deliverables. The manager will immediately support the on-going global Workday system implementation. This role will work closely with the HRIS Project Team, HR Field, Global HR and Corporate Communications. Additional projects may apply beyond this system implementation.


  • Serve as the Change Management Project Lead that will extensively partner with the HRIS team to ensure the best change management approaches are developed and executed to support the on-going system implementation
  • Responsible to ensure all content for communication and training is valid, consistent and appropriate
  • Translate all systems changes and upgrades into intuitive & practical terms (with an end-user perspective) and determine best method/approach to educate different types of end-users
  • Develop and coordinate the review of all communications to the associate population regarding Workday (HR System)
  • Stay current on all new & upcoming Workday functionality; determine impact from a change management perspective (inclusive of communication and training needs)
  • Develop strategy to address new Workday functionality and impacts – review and gather alignment from Change Management, Communications and HRIS Project leads
  • Manage and update all training & communications content, such as: Quick Reference Guides, internal websites and instructional videos
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions to different types of audiences
  • Apply change management methodology when developing approaches or solutions to projects
  • Ability to conduct assessments of current state via people, process and technology
  • Articulate future state of people, process and technology
  • Work autonomously but with close alignment with Project Team
  • Collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders on project and change management , including external system consultants
  • Work autonomously but with close alignment with Project Team


  • Minimum 5 years Learning & Development experience
  • Instructional design experience creating training materials/content
  • Project Management experience, ideal, not required
  • Understand technology process and lifecycle of software implementation

Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum


  • Exceptional communication & negotiation abilities
  • Ability to clearly articulate process (visually and verbally) for variety of audiences
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Strong ability to influence and lead without authority
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in constantly changing situations
  • Ability to filter opinions; does not reflexively react
