MEA+ is the growth area of the EMEA region, compromising of the diverse and exciting emerging markets - Middle East, Africa, Greece + (incl. Romania, Cyprus, Bulgaria) and Malta. The MEA+ marketing & communications team is responsible for translating the global direction into a local strategy & execution for both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. You will be one of the few within PVH working on both brands.
The MEA+ marketing & communications intern plays a key role in supporting the marketing team with the successful implementation of the marketing & PR strategy across the region for both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
You will have daily contact with the in-country marketing managers who you will support on providing creative assets, tools and templates to execute the local marketing and communication plans. The intern supports on coordinating (retail) marketing and communications briefs from the countries to central marketing & PR teams and the creative artwork studio.
The intern facilitates press releases for the region, manages the Runway sample needs for the seasonal press days and PR tracking, reporting and competitor analysis. Moreover he/she will update and maintain local blogger profiles and media landscapes.
Furthermore the intern will manage and track advertising (image) requests, maintain the print (magazine) library and online & social media presence of both brands across MEA+ and support with (seasonal) recaps and department presentations.
This role reports into the MEA+ Marketing Director
- The start date for the internship is January/February 2018. Duration: 6 months
- Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master studies in International Business / Marketing & Communications for the entire period of internship
- The candidate should be eligible to work in EU
- Able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
- Pro-active and results driven
- Organized and efficient
- Fluent in the English Language, verbal and written.
- MS Office (Outlook, PPT, PDF, Word, Excel), OS Keynote and preferably knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
- Experience in Apparel/Fashion/Lifestyle and/or Retail industry a plus
- International experience is a plus
