Position Description

The job will be divided in two big areas:

Part 1:

  • The planning team manages and works with different sources of information. The intern will be responsible for collecting and pre-processing the data. For this task the intern will need to deal with different databases, consolidate the information and transform it so it can be used in Excel and other tools. In these tasks the intern will support business analytics and business forecasting.
  • The intern will be available to answer data requests from the analysts. In this role the intern will learn to work with our analytical tools.
  • The intern will be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating a set of periodical reports.

Part 2:

Brand Merchandising Project: the intern will have the opportunity to work on a merchandising project.

Learning Objectives:

  • Business analytics principles: Understand performance and drivers of performance
  • Merchandising principles: Merchandising KPIs, Merchandise Planning and the build-up of a collection.
  • Business intelligence skills: As part of his/her work, the intern will have the opportunity to acquire deep skills in excel and business analytics tools.
  • Communication and cooperation skills: as part of a very dynamic and active team, the intern will cooperate closely with colleagues of different seniority levels in a professional yet informal environment.

Position Requirements

  • Start date for the internship: January/February 2018. Duration: 6 months
  • The candidate should be enrolled in a school or university for the entire period of internship.
  • The candidate should be eligible to work in EU
  • Educational Background: Business Economics, Management or equivalent, at an internationally minded Business School
  • Communication/Language: Excellent written and spoken language skills in English
  • Computer IT: Proficient skills of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Personal Interest in consumer goods / apparel / fashion
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Employment type: full-time
