People's Place is the hospitality and event department of the brand Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein; there are currently 3 locations in 2 buildings. One on the ground floor of the international head office at Stadhouderskade 6 and 2 at the new Campus in the Houthavens.
In the daytime People's Place is the Coffee bar/canteen/lunch room for all Tommy Hilfiger employees working at the head office, this is the main aim of this hospitality department. But People's Place is more than just a canteen;
- It's a bar, live music and event venue at night
- Internal and extern catering
- Internal and external event productions
- Artist catering
The professional kitchen and staff offers high quality food prepared with the best local ingredients, for seating dinners People's Place can serve up to 270 guests and for walking dinners up to 450 guests.
For the newly opened People's Place Deli concept on the Campus in the Houthavens we're looking for a new coordinator. The Deli feature a high end coffee bar, juice corner and offers all Tommy and CK staff take out lunch options, great snacks. It's the buzzing center of the same building that hosts the TH and CK international showrooms and has an amazing view over the IJ.
The jobholder will report into the Project & Brand manager and will work closely with the Head Barista and the Deli Chef.
The main tasks can be summarized as follows:
- Manage day-to-day People's Place Deli activities
- Prepare and finish Deli products
- Implement new smoothie, juice and breakfast options
- Give input on weekly changing Sandwich and Salad menu's
- Coordinate rosters with Head Barista and Lunch Buffet Coordinator
- Manage & control Deli stock
- Source new "cool" food/drinks/snacks
- Operates caterings on location
- Coordinates deli cleanup
- Briefs finance department PP on daily results
- Attend bi-weekly Deli meeting
- High interest in healthy lifestyles, food and juices
- Strong eye for detail
- Good social skills, very hospitable
- Accurate working attitude
- Able to perform in a hectic and international work environment
Education, professional qualifications and experience
- At least 1 year of working experience in operational or controlling environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Fluent in English
