HR General Support Temp - PVH Corp.

This assignment is expected to be for 2-4 months.

The associate in this position is responsible for a large quantity of administrative duties including, but not limited to, timely entering of new hire information in the automated HR System (Workday), processing the corresponding new-hire paperwork, working closely with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of weekly pay for new hires and auditing of government forms including W-4 and I-9 forms. Training will be provided. The HR General Support Temp is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service and is a team player within the department. The specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensures timely and accurate entry in Lawson on the associate's new hire information as submitted verbally via phone or read from faxed/emailed paperwork.
  • Ensures State and Federal documents (I-9's, W-4, Minor Work Permits etc.) are present and comply with applicable laws in addition to meeting Company's Policy and Procedure requirements.
  • Verifies the integrity and completion of all New Hire documents to meet or exceed the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and Internal Audit .
  • Verifies and corrects (if necessary) in Workday the associates personal information upon receipt of paperwork.
  • Special administrative projects as needed.


Experience: 1-2 years of administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.

Education: College degree preferred , comparable work experience acceptable.

Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills. Detail Oriented and organization ability. Self-starter, flexible and analytical. PC skills (MS Word, Excel). Knowledge of Workday HR system a plus.

Training: Training will be provided.
