E-Commerce Marketing Manager - Heritage

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is an exciting opportunity for a leader to be part of the inaugural launch of a brand new E-Commerce business for our rich Heritage brands. The E-commerce Marketing Manager will manage Heritage E-Commerce online initiatives with the goal of driving traffic and increasing revenue. We seek a highly resourceful and creative individual who has a track record of success in developing and executing online strategies with a focus of acquisition, conversion and retention. The candidate will own the online marketing calendar, site user experience, and be a key stakeholder in managing the creative asset process, and 3rd party vendor relationships. A significant background in web analytics is a must.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Manage digital marketing initiatives; E-mail, SEO, SEM, affiliates, social, retargeting, to hit traffic plans and ROI.
  • Create, implement, and oversee the online marketing calendar to drive qualified traffic and conversion. Partner cross-functionally to support Brand initiatives.
  • Liaise with CRM team to develop and enhance loyalty programs, customer segmentation and general customer outreach strategies.
  • Brief creative department on all assets needed for marketing campaigns and site content.
  • Partner with wholesale, buying, and creative marketing teams on budgeting and execution of all photography asset needs, including content and PDP.
  • Lead measurement and reporting on key performance indicators and provide actionable data to inform decisions to improve the business from a user experience and tactics perspective.
  • Partner with E-Commerce team to provide continuous improvement of website user experience.
  • Benchmark and analyze the performance of all online marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • QA site content prior to production.
  • Use Omniture/Google Analytics and other business tracking tools to make strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Coordinate & contribute to the development of supplemental website content such as product technology details, fit guides, product collections, as seen in etc.
  • Advocate best practices and research new industry trends/opportunities for increased web sales and online branding. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 5+ years' experience in Direct to Consumer E-Commerce Marketing

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred

Skills:

  • Experience in SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing and display advertising a must
  • Solid understanding of site navigation, content management and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of CPC, CPM and CPA pricing models
  • Ability to work well across multiple departments and independently
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving ability
  • Exceptionally strong planning, organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong team player and leadership qualities
