Director of Marketing/Sales Promotion

  • Develops communications strategy against new product launches
  • Partners with EVP Marketing on strategy development
  • Manages and coordinates the execution of key marketing projects with Creative Marketing team and PR and Digital Agency, inclusive of all print, catalogs, in-store, packaging, digital and social.
  • Supervises Channel Marketing Managers on coordination, production and organization of all visual assets (catalogs, point of sale, packaging, etc.).
  • Carries brand and campaign messaging all distribution channels including Amazon, E-Comm, teams, dept stores, sporting goods and mass
  • Builds and tracks annual in-store marketing, co-op marketing and account marketing budgets; leads monthly budget review meetings
  • Collaborates with Project Manager to reports project status on a regular basis to management and relevant cross functional teams.
  • Ensures deliverables meet all requirements set forth in briefs and are completed by deadlines.
  • Manages Channel Marketing Managers as they run point on retailer execution of brand presentation including co-op advertising and in-store collateral support.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners (i.e., merchandising, design, sales) to communicate brand and product strategies and to gain tactical support of marketing programs
  • Be category expert
  • Contribute to market research design and execution
  • Ensure articulation of brands’ desired images and positionings; assure consistent communication of image and position, both internally and externally
