Director, Learning & Development - PVH Corp.


Support and execute on talent management strategies for the PVH organization, and co-lead the design and implementation of the organization's talent development programs and initiatives. This position consults with senior management as well as all levels of the organization to ensure the company has the appropriate learning and development strategies to support the overall business.

Corporate University

Building and leading function/level specific "academies" within university

  • Lead and develop the corporate university open-enrollment program and online learning
  • Establish and maintain academies within PVH U
  • Support and deliver talent management strategies and initiatives for the global PVH organization including learning and development, assessment, coaching, and related processes.
  • Manage annual learning needs analysis
  • Partner with other L&D team members to develop L&D strategies to meet current and future business needs
  • Provide instruction, support, and guidance to all levels of management on how to conduct and implement development planning to support the development of talent.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of training and development programs for the organization, including all levels of leadership, general business, and custom development programs.
  • Consult with senior management and business unit leaders on learning and development strategies for their areas of responsibility; analyze learning and development needs; design and implement customized programs to address needs.
  • Facilitate PVH U courses and team building events as requested/needed.
  • Work with external instructors/faculty to customize PVH U programs, academies, seminars and materials and ensure high quality delivery of programs for a variety of audiences and levels.
  • Provide assessment coaching and development planning support to associates at all levels.
  • Support the ongoing development of the HR department staff in the areas of talent assessment and development, including train-the-trainer programs, certifications, and related HR career development initiatives.
  • Write, design, develop, and maintain various guides, materials, and presentations for a variety of audiences.
  • Participate in drafting and/or editing of presentations on TM & OE initiatives for senior executives.
  • Some travel required to PVH offices in Bridgewater and some travel to other PVH locations, remote sites, field meetings or offsite events.


8 to 10 years of learning and development experience along with strong skills in instructional design, facilitation, needs analysis, and evaluation methods, including computer training and soft skills training delivery experience; 8 to 10 years of experience in organizational effectiveness with background in leadership development, and related. Experience managing a corporate university and managing a team.


Advanced degree in related field, with Master's preferred..

Certified as a facilitator and experience with facilitating to a Mid-Level leader audience. Project management expertise/certification. Certified in behavioral and/or styles assessments. Certification in coaching preferred.

Experienced in coaching and assessing leaders. Proven training program design and implementation skills. Excellent platform delivery skills. Strong written communication skills. Strong PC skills.
