TITLE: Coordinator – Logistics Innovation DEPT/DIV: Innovation/Logistics Services

REPORTS TO: Manager, Logistics Innovation LOCATION: Jonesville, NC

__

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides support to Logistics Services teams through thought-partnership, planning, and executing Logistics strategies. Responsible for supporting projects and foundational processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Works closely with Manager to track/measure Division's strategies and goals

Monitor key process metrics and KPIs, coordinate improvement in Operational Excellence foundational activities and decisions

Support initiative owners in scoping, planning, and managing projects including:

o Complete and maintain document outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing

o Facilitate working team meetings as necessary to help drive to plan

o Communicate project status to Project Manager

Coordinate best practice information to ensure team is following the established project plan, updating and communicating changes as needed

Identify, recommend, and consult with Manager on implementing process enhancements based on industry, corporate, or brand's best practices

Serve as planning partner to Logistics Services teams identifying both internal and external process impacts

Ability to visualize and understand overall project goals, benefits and risks

Assist in facilitating Logistics Services offsite meetings

Serve as a contact to coordinate/communicate with business partners such as CSR, GSC, IT initiatives related to the business

Support continuous improvement and increased efficiency and effectiveness as business needs shifts

Coordinate IT SSRS requests, elevate to Manager/Director as needed

Translate costing analytics pertinent to Logistics Services initiatives including project timelines, trending, planning, reporting

Motivate team members on a proactive basis throughout assigned projects

Communicate process and deliverables updates to Manager and assigned cross functional teams ensuring common understanding and requirements for success

Assist Manager in preparing strategy, budget, and other related presentations and communications to relevant business partners

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:

Internal: Logistics teams, PVH Brand teams, Human Resources, IT

External: Global regional partners, service providers, PVH vendors

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct: None

Indirect: None—though may direct ad-hoc project teams

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

DECISION MAKING:

Must be knowledgeable and confident participating in project team and management update meetings

Provide recommendations and guide teams to adhere to timelines and successful project completion

Ability to work with teams to navigate obstacles and provide guidance leading to final decisions

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:

Work with Manager to analyze multiple areas of the PVH businesses, recommend, and develop comprehensive plans and initiatives to improve business, communication, and performance in multiple areas

Comfortable with supporting all levels and cultures, effectively navigating within the organization

Uses creativity in communication to clearly articulate written and visual messages; includes creative usage of PowerPoint to convey messages

Trusted/respected resource as a "connector" keeping assigned projects on track

ENVIRONMENT:

Individual contributor & team player at same time - must be able to work independently and be self-sufficient, assuming more of an influential role when necessary

Ability to influence at all levels and work cross-functionally, driving for execution

Ability to work in ambiguity

Estimated travel requirement of 10% - 15%

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

2+ years' experience in either Logistics, W+D, Supply Chain, Project Management, Process Design, or related consulting experience

Apparel experience preferred but not required

Proven ability to create, implement and measure new processes

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Education:

4 year degree in business or related field preferred

PMI Certification is an asset but not required

Lean Six Sigma Yellow or higher is an asset but not required

Skills:

Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages

Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities

Excellent communication, problem solving, and analytical skills

Ability to elicit cooperation from internal and external partners

Project Management (basic)

Process Design (basic)

Meeting Facilitation

Excel and PowerPoint experience

Excellent communication skills – verbal & written/framing/details/closure
