Bilingual Customer Service Representative


  • Enters orders into the database for merchandising to buy the line.
  • Assists Sales Team during market appointments.
  • Inputs weekly style selling information for tracking purposes.
  • Responsible for sending out samples, photocopying line sheets for market prep, and advertising follow-up.
  • Maintains shipping log for accessible information pertaining to account orders as well as maintain delivery schedules for key accounts.
  • Prepares paperwork necessary for cancellations & returns to vendor, etc.
  • Develops close ties with key accounts in Canada to understand their requirements, proposing solutions and providing service that exceeds expectations.
  • Works closely with field sales reps in Canada to assist in maintaining and growing sales.
  • Reports as necessary to sales reps, customers and management.
  • Assists in showroom set ups.
  • Runs sales and inventory reports on Micro strategy to provide to management.
  • Monthly uploads of style numbers to customer orders using R2008 (The Bay) and EIW (Sears) for their P.O.‘s
  • Reviews P.O.‘s for accuracy, review delivery schedules and bring any issues regarding orders to the attention of the appropriate persons.
  • Acts as liaison between the customer and the warehouse by preparing order tickets and making sure orders are complete.
  • Receives reviews and maintains samples in the showroom for ease of use during market and throughout the year.
  • Opens order report
  • Receives customer calls
  • Delivers translation
  • Set-ups Accounts
  • Works on shipping with warehouse
  • Performs ad hoc projects as required.


  • Experience Required:
  • 2+ years of Inside Sales /Customer Service / Retail experience
  • Minimum Education:
  • College diploma, administration or marketing.
  • Skills:
  • Abilities for customer service
  • Computer literate with experience in MS Office and strong MS Excel skills; SAP an asset.
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • BILINGUAL (French & English – a must)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to multi-task.
  • Team player with a willingness to learn;
