Associate Manager, Creative Services & Showrooms - Tommy Hilfiger

The Associate Manager, Creative services & Showrooms supports the Sr. Manager, Creative Services & Showrooms with seasonal changes based on corporate initiatives, divisional global design themes and merchandising directives for all TH Wholesale showrooms, Licensing showrooms, and US Full Price Retail Stores, and special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Help construct interesting visual displays through propping/construction that relays seasonal message for each showroom
  • Learn the focus of the construction that supports the product by partnering with in-store and showroom needs
  • Create interesting visual displays, set design and an atmosphere that relays seasonal message and lifestyle for Wholesale, Licensing, and US Full Price Retail Stores
  • Supports the seasonal installation of (furniture, construction of props and paint) of Wholesale, Licensing, PR set ups and Full Price Retail Stores
  • Supports the production of seasonal construction, changing out per request
  • Work on in-store installations, via construction and or props for US full price retail
  • Partner with Senior Manager as needed on special projects, including installations at events and Tommy shoots and video interviews etc. (In regards to construction and/or making of props)
  • Communicate deadlines and progress to Senior Manager

Qualifications:
  • College degree; Visual Merchandising/Design/Creative Services focus, a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in showroom, set design, and/or store design or display
  • Strong design sense
  • Mastery of power tools
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Deadline sensitive
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to deal with multiple personalities
  • PC Skills - MSOffice and MS Outlook
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign, a plus
  • Support construction needs and decisions with Senior Manager, Creative Services & Showrooms
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines
  • Detail oriented/innovative traits necessary
  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects
  • Hands-on and construction knowledge
  • Some off-hours work, as required
  • Heavy lifting and painting required
  • Comfort with driving commercial vans as necessary--valid driver's license
  • Overnight travel as required (1x a month, max)
