What You Will Be Doing

This is a 6 month contract opportunity to work as our Lab Technician! This candidate will be working in a R&D Lab environment for an established and growing organization Flash Array industry. You will be responsible for support in the hardware labs and test/debugging of prototypes and FA. You'll help maintain organization in the labs and support the hardware and embedded software development.  


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent degree.
  • Good verbal communication & collaboration skills
  • Experienced in RMA and FA fields
  • Exposure to Lab Management, equipment and maintenance 
  • Responsible and reliable individual capable of managing projects and facilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high pressure environments
  • Must be comfortable utilizing computers and providing detailed documentation.  

Desired skills:

  • Solid hands-on experience in testing and debugging of PCB assemblies including use of test scripts, Oscilloscopes, and Logic Analyzers.
  • Proven ability to build, track and maintain complex rework, and assembly instructions across many different assemblies.
  • Able to solder and do rework on complicated PCB assemblies with fine-pitch components, tiny component i.e. 0201 SMD component, component rework and repair, and necessary measurements required to help issue resolution
  • Proficient in material tracking of prototypes and accessories across engineering
  • Experienced in identifying and procuring test equipment and supply for a HW labs
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Wiki, and Microsoft Suite (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint ...etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (just for some occasionally) 

Nice to have:

  • Exposure in storage protocols i.e. SAS, SATA, FC…
  • Familiar with storage industry (i.e., HDD, SSD, etc.)
  • Experience in network set up for lab environments
  • Experience in test, debugs, data analysis and collection
