IT Team at Pure

We’ve put together a diverse and elite group of nerds to manage all of Pure’s technology, including helpdesk, systems, networking, AV, deployment, knowledge management, business applications, and security. We’re looking for new additions to boost our team’s skillset (and Nerf-Gun-war prowess) even more.

Pure's IT organization is a core part of Pure Storage's company-wide daily operations and has employees located across the US and EMEA, with a majority of the team residing in Mountain View, CA.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide hardware and software support for local and remote users.
  • Resolve user issues in Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, and Ubuntu Linux.
  • Support telecommunications technologies including Fuze and Zoom.
  • Perform user account management and application assignment.
  • Troubleshoot issues to help solve employees’ IT problems.
  • Perform repairs on systems as needed.
  • Provide systems and network support in conjunction with the Network team.
  • Remove malware and other security threats.

 What You Bring To The Team

The ideal Desktop Support Specialist has the following qualifications and experience in some or all of the following areas:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in desktop support or a computer-centric degree
  • Background administering and working with common cloud-based systems including but not limited to:
    • G Suite
    • Office 365
    • Box
    • Slack
  • Experience using an IT ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Mobile Device Management experience (AirWatch and JAMF Pro)
  • Mobile OS support experience (iOS and Android)
  • Okta administration experience is preferred
  • AD administration experience is a plus
  • Any certifications are a plus
  • Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
