What You Will Be Doing

This position is responsible for ensuring the compliant import / export of Pure Storage products as well as the management of daily traffic associated with both international and domestic shipments.

This includes, without limitation, adherence to applicable U.S. and non-U.S. laws and regulations pertaining to international trade as well as ensuring compliance with Pure Storage corporate policies. 

  • Ensure day-to-day monitoring of all shipments both domestic and international
  • Ensure that the business has written up-to-date work procedures to ensure compliance with US import and export regulations and the corporate Import and Export Management Systems
  • Ensure current HTS classifications and country of origin information
  • Ensure that proposed transactions are screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, and diversion
  • Submit and/or audit AES submissions
  • Manage communications with both internal and external customers
  • Cross functional coordination with legal, supply chain, sales, finance, and product management
  • Interface with both internal and customer routed carriers to ensure SLA’s are met and delays are communicated
  • Evaluate all new Government agency requirements to ensure import and export compliance with changes and incorporation into day to day operations and standard operating procedures
  • Communicate with business units and suppliers overseas to streamline export / import processes
  • Ensure that a trained back-up is available to assist with compliance functions

What You Bring To The Team

  • Experience in developing work procedures and written instructions
  • 5+ years’ experience in import / export compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret government regulations.
  • Program management skills
  • Automation, excel, and analytics skills
  • International fulfillment management
