The Maintenance Renewals team is responsible for closely working with Sales, Finance, and Operations, managing renewals, co-terms for up-sell opportunities, and supporting the company’s strategic SaaS-like renewal strategy & process. This position has WW responsibilities and reports through the VP of WW Field Operations. In addition to managing the WW renewals sales team on day to day selling and process activities, you will also be expected to act as the key liaison within the company working with the field sales organization driving renewals and the renewals process, our WW support organization and all internal operational roles involved with the company’s renewal efforts and reporting. This role will be viewed as a true value-add partner of the company’s internal groups and the lead subject matter expert of the renewals efforts for the company.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading and collaborating across the company to create best practice business process for the renewals efforts for the company
  • Provide key thought leadership on renewals systems, tools, job-aids, and consistent business-sales methodology for the renewals team
  • Establishing a Renewals Opportunity Management & Forecast methodology for the company
  • Provide renewals team/company leadership on the development and implementation for renewals data architecture for customer contract details, SKU info, serial numbers, renewal dates and all associated key metrics for the renewals efforts for the company
  • Work with sales leadership & account executives to manage renewal process from initial customer ‘win’ data collection into renewal data set to establish consistent data set for all future renewals for the customers
  • Contact and follow up with partners to ensure a timely maintenance renewal process
  • Manage partner and sales requests for contract details and budgetary quotes
  • Manage quote escalations and support for large/complex deals
  • Assist in communication with field sales and operational teams
  • Prepare forecasts of maintenance renewal bookings
  • Prepare various monthly reports for strategic partner relations, potential upgrade opportunities and progress of maintenance renewals

What you bring to the table

  • 8-10 years of renewals experience with high volume, best in class renewals company(s)
  • Experience in working with a 2 tier channel company/business process
  • Experience in working with best in class dedicated renewals systems, contract management and entitlements systems
  • Experience working with SFDC, Google & MS office applications
  • Must have a passion for detail and driving issues to resolution/closure
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional analytic skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong problem solving and process implementation skills
  • The ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter are vital to this role
  • Demonstrated work ethic and consistent over achievement
  • Experience in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and prioritize requests
  • Proactive and energetic
  • Experience with Federal accounts/renewals process
