What You Will Be Doing

  • Meeting or exceeding profitable sales growth targets
  • Driving sales discipline and building functional excellence in the team through effective management and coaching on: Channel and account sales plan and strategy development, solution selling methodologies, structured and disciplined usage of CRM, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting, etc.
  • Monitoring performance and results metrics, ensuring that timely corrective action is taken if necessary to reach budgeted results and targets
  • Communicating regularly with regional sales leadership on performance, team needs and market developments
  • Communicating effectively vision, plans, goals and objectives to team members
  • Hiring, leading, developing, retaining, and motivating capable, competent, and talented team members
  • Influence BU strategy in the country, building up alignment/synergy of BU strategies and growing business in the country for assigned BU products, solutions and services
  • Communicating market, application and competitive developments to all stakeholders
  • Managing the services business in the region to increase customer satisfaction and grow services revenue
  • Ensuring global sales processes and sales operations policies are adhered to executed

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant area (EE, CS etc.); MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of sales experience with 7+ years' experience in a senior leadership or coaching role, developing and supporting a country wised sales professionals
  • Proven record of driving profitable sales growth over an extended period in a complex and fast-moving technology sales environment
  • Experience in managing global accountsAn understanding of major technology trends and initiatives
  • Ability to build strong and sustaining professional relationships at all levels of a customer organization
  • Proven strategic thinker and planner
  • Results focused team player, collaborative and inclusive
  • Customer focused with good listening skills and strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with use of CRM platforms (Salesforce strongly preferred) and sales performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and preferably one other major language of the region.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
