Residential Drafter (ZONE)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the development of Construction Documents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Architectural Service drafting support as assigned
  • Develop complete construction document sets from Blockout using tools, processes and standards defined by National Architectural Services (NAS) for assigned projects
  • Create and draw lot specific plot plans as assigned
  • Maintain construction documents as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION

(Degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Architecture or equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

(Work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.)

  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum 1-3 years CAD operations experience (specific knowledge of current version of Auto CAD Architecture preferred)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
  • General knowledge of building codes
  • Knowledge of residential construction techniques and construction documents
  • Effective communication and organization skills
  • Software Skills – Word, Excel, and ACAD at a minimum. BIM software is a plus
