Dir Build Quality

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of Build Quality continuous improvement programs throughout the division. Ensures that all construction operations represent the maximum quality and reliability attainable, performed in accordance with Pulte's environmental and safety standards. Responsible for all division warranty and customer service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Division Warranty Resources and Processes
  • Audit, analyze and manage division-level recordables to minimize variance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Distribute Division dashboard and develop action plans to eliminate field issues
  • Devise methods to collect and assess price of nonconformance (PONC) costs
  • Provide technical and operational support through division internal audits to ensure adherence to PCS standards
  • Provide field operation support to ensure that the Build Quality processes are being deployed and utilized to their fullest
  • Support training of field managers and trades to ensure PulteGroup processes are being deployed
  • Support insurance and risk claims
  • Monitor division safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with state and federal health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Provides support to create action plans for both internal and external PCS audit results
  • Assist division in implementation of national processes and standards and tracks metrics to ensure adoption, compliance and continuous improvements

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION

(Degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License because driving is an essential function of this position.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
(Work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.)
  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 5+ years experience with at least 2 years Homebuilding Field experience
  • Warranty/Customer Relations experience
  • Understanding of homebuilding construction processes end to end
  • Understanding of performance metrics and financial impact
  • Quality and root cause problem solving
  • Works well with groups/collaborative nature
  • Risk/Insurance experience
