Job Description
Responsible for the development of lot specific CD's, marketing collateral, and additional drafting and production duties as req'd based on Division operational needs, under supervision of Division Product Manager and Construction Operations. Drafting of the following:

o Redline markups

o Construction document sets

o Plan revisions

o Construction details Conduct CAD duties for Construction Drawings (CDs), Marketing collateral, and lot specific production and plan review.

Ensure quality control on all work completed Maintain and willingness to add to working knowledge in the following areas:

o Structural elements of home building

o Construction installation means and methods Self-monitor quality control on all work product Develop, produce, and assist in the review of complete construction document sets for Adherence to Division processes and standards

This position will also work on producing reports within construction department and other duties as assigned Reports to Division Architecture & Construction Close coordination with DPM and Resource Planning team in day-to-day production operations Communicates project updates to Division Product Manager and other members of the Division Team
A high school degree is required.

Associate degree in Drafting is a plus but not required and work experience in residential construction may reduce or replace this need. Entry level CAD will be considered.

A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Construction equivalent a plus.

Related Functional Experience: School training or minimum 1 year AutoCAD experience (specific knowledge of current version of AutoCAD Architecture preferred but not required) Understanding of architectural drawing conventions, e.g. floor plans, building sections, elevations, roof plans, etc.

Knowledge of residential construction techniques, construction documents, building codes and CAD concepts is a plus Effective communication and organization skills Software Skills -- Word, Excel, and ACAD required. BIM software is a plus
