Manager, HR Compliance

The HR Compliance Manager will operate in a newly created, hybrid role that will provide a blend of HR Compliance, COVID-19 Response and Ethics Hotline support across the enterprise. Initially, this role will have an emphasis on partnering with the COVID-19 leadership committee on continuing to drive consistent communication, response plans, contact tracing, and company policy regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Given the ever-changing employment law landscape, this role will partner closely with Legal, Payroll and other stakeholders as the lead for HR Compliance related projects that result in local or enterprise-wide policy and program changes. Partnership with the Area HR leadership team will be critical, as this role will provide Ethics Hotline support on an as-needed basis. This role will report to the VP of HR for Home Office.
Works closely with the COVID-19 leadership committee on sustaining the current COVID-19 Response program and implementing new strategies as needed to protect the health and safety of the employees.
Supports Managers across the enterprise on COVID-19 response actions -- contact tracing, employee exposure assessment, and appropriate safety protocols.
Leads HR Compliance projects and partners with key stakeholders in HR, Legal, Payroll and Risk on HR compliance-related projects that have impact enterprise-wide or within local business units. Projects include but not limited to, leading updates in process changes regarding state employment laws, payroll law, and annual review and changes to the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct.
In partnership with the Area HR leaders and Legal, conducts Ethics Hotline investigations into potential violations of the Company's Code of Ethics & Business conduct.
Gathers, interprets, and analyzes data required for investigations.
Drafts investigation report and makes recommendations regarding discipline and development opportunities.
Reviews and analyzes ethics hotline trends that translate into opportunities for training, policy enhancements, and executive-level reporting.
Collaborates with HR partners on coaching and guidance during the investigative process.
Delegates HR Compliance related work according to employee's abilities and skills.
Provides discipline recommendations on outcomes of investigation.
Assists in the identification of internal and external training opportunities related to HR Compliance.
Leverages Ethics Hotline data insights to drive change in process, policy, and programs.

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent in related field
PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive human resources, employee relations, and/or HR compliance experience
Strong knowledge of HR practices along with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
Stays abreast of changing regulations in order to provide guidance and strategies that will mitigate risk exposure to the Company
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; a creative problem solver
Demonstrated project management and change management experience
A well organized and self-directed individual who is politically savvy and a team player
The ability to demonstrate personal credibility and trustworthiness
Experience leading investigations with complete objectivity, confidentiality and consistency.
The ability to organize and prioritize multiple and diverse projects and meet critical deadlines
Experience using data to identify insights that drive action
Experience working with cross functional teams (HR, Legal, Payroll, Risk, Sr. Leadership) to identify and execute opportunities to innovate and improve effectiveness and efficiencies
Experience working in matrix environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and technologically savvy
