Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development

The VP Finance and Corporate Development is responsible for driving financial analysis activities across the organization that support improved profitability and growth as well as leading the execution of M&A deals from identification to close. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes and reporting for PulsePoint.
  • Develop financials and detail revenue models with appropriate market data and assumptions for M&A efforts.
  • Create and maintain financial models and analyses of financial and operational metrics to evaluate and direct business performance.
  • Direct and oversee competitive financial analysis.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to organizational leaders through interpretation of complex financial information to assist in corporate decision-making.

 Corporate Development: 

  • Create a comprehensive corporate development strategy while quickly assessing, prioritizing, and establishing an approach for pursuing opportunities.
  • Execute corporate development plans including sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and closing of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) targets.
  • Architect and develop the Company’s playbook to create a successful and repeatable M&A process.
  • Serves as the lead point of contact for cross-functional planning, due diligence, and integration teams.

 

 What you'll need:

  • Minimum 5-8 years experience in investment banking, corporate development, corporate finance or private equity;
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred;
  • Excellent problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills;
  • Experience with financial statements, valuation, financial modeling, budget management, forecasting and strategic planning;
  • Collaborative skills working effectively with others, internally and externally;
  • Experience working cross functionally both within and leading multi-discipline teams.
