Sr UX Designer


If you’re excited about solving customer problems, come lead User Experience for an innovative, fast growing programmatic advertising platform. As the overall owner of customer-facing designs and workflows, the senior UX designer will manage design resources and contractors, and will be responsible for developing standards and ensuring that all platform interactions follow those standards.

This role requires extensive experience in information architecture methodology and UX design techniques in an iterative software development setting.  The Senior UX Designer will work closely with product managers to deliver product requirements and supporting visualization to the development teams, and validate and iterate on proposed designs with customers and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide thought leadership and a unifying vision for user experience across the entire product line. Champion a user-centered design process throughout the organization.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of new and existing UX elements in the product by incorporating user feedback, and best practices in order to continuously evolve and improve the product
  • Work closely with product management to develop high quality product requirements and supporting visualization. Work with development, QA and customer-facing teams to ensure products exceed customer expectations
  • Develop and continuously improve usability test criteria to guide product acceptance, and coordinate execution of UX with customers and stakeholders
  • Define key UX metrics, track and analyze product performance, and assess customer and industry feedback
  • Manage outsourced design resources, including a small team of contract designers

What you'll need:

  • Previous exposure to Ad Tech, B2B or "big data" products a must
  • Solid UX analysis/design experience in large-scale web and mobile software development environment and a strong understanding of information architecture and user-centered design methodology 
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS are required
  • Experience in gathering, developing, validating and communicating Use Case requirements as part of an overall Application Product Lifecycle
  • Expertise in developing and weaving together a strong interaction design and sharp visual design to produce a seamless, effortless experience
  • Outstanding ability to communicate complex information to various audiences and all levels of the company
  • Motivated self-starter driven to obtain personal, team and corporate success. Ability to excel in a dynamic and demanding environment
