PulsePoint is currently seeking a Account Executive, Private Marketplace, with exceptional quantitative and analytical skills to grow PulsePoint’s PMP and PMPG business. In this critical role, the ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of deal structure, media buying, agency trading desks, DSPs, and account management as it pertains to PMP and PMPG deals.

 

A bit about the role:

The Account Executive, Private Marketplace will source, manage and grow our relationships across agency trading desks. Additionally, this person will be responsible for packaging up publisher inventory and managing the PMP and PMPG sales process across agency trading desks and DSPs.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as an expert on private marketplaces and the management and deployment of PMP and PMPG deals across the PulsePoint exchange and continue to expand PMP and PMPG deals across all of PulsePoint’s suite of advertising products, current and future.
  • Responsible for building out sales process for PMP and PMPG deals across the organization by creating training materials, best practices, and customer facing collateral, in addition to working directly with our clients in a training/subject matter expert function for private marketplace
  • Interface internally and externally with publishers and SSP partners for troubleshooting and activation across all private marketplace deals
  • Work with the Account teams and clients globally to understand client PMP and PMPG goals and develop an execution process built for success
  • Become the senior escalation point for dialogue on PMP and PMPG activity
  • Lead and participate in a variety of analytical R&D projects aimed at improving best practices, thought leadership, providing advanced client insights, or validating new private marketplace developments
  • Develop a full understanding of complex trading concepts and appropriate PulsePoint products
  • Develop productive working relationships with other PulsePoint specialized delivery groups
  • Lead the codification and communication of shared best practices across the Global PulsePoint teams
  • Provide feedback and input for Product Development efforts
  • Provide guidance to Marketing on a variety of thought leadership efforts

 

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience working in the programmatic advertising ecosystem
  • Experience working with data science to making informed, data-driven business decisions
  • Proven ability to think creatively about challenging analytic problems
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to distill key ideas across a broad range of audiences
  • Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
  • Expert knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem and existing rolodex of senior contacts with advertising agency trading desks
  • Expert with legal contracts and managing legal counsel
  • Experience with financial modeling and revenue forecasting

 

Desired:

  • Experience trading media in a platform (e.g. DSP, SSP, etc)
  • Experience with marketing campaign design, campaign management, and analysis preferred
