Logistical Assistant - Toronto Malls

As an indoor locations setup assistant your role would include organizing, delivering, setting up and taking down display booths and canvassing materials for the Toronto mall program.  Working under the direction of the Indoor Fundraising Logistics Coordinator, we are looking for a team player who can implement detailed setup instructions while also acting independently and solving problems in the moment.  Your work would insure that mall canvassers have all of the materials they need to fundraise while also meeting the expectations of Public Outreach clients and mall property managers.  

Hours: 5-10 per week
Compensation: $13/hr
Reports to: Fundraising Logistics Coordinator 

Requirements:


  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • G2 or G driver's licence

  • Access to a personal vehicle is not required but would be considered an asset

  • Ability to work Sunday afternoons / evenings and occasional weekday early morning or late evening shifts

  • Comfortable with lifting and moving mall materials

  • Confident with tasks such as building IKEA furniture in set up
