Talent Lead, System Capabilities

Utilizing a combination of strong analytical, strategic thinking, client relationship and project management skills and working with a high attention to detail, this role will be responsible for defining the components of the future state Talent Management business processes in support of our Global Human Capital Management initiative. In this role, you will represent the Talent COE in driving decision making and consensus while promoting the consistency and standardization of a global Talent Management process in Prudential's future capital management system, Workday.

What you will be doing:

  • Review overall Performance Management and Talent Management strategy and determine what initiatives are planned for the 2020 Phase 2 in the Workday implementation
  • Confirm process in scope for Performance Management and Talent Management in Workday
  • Determine rating scales, templates, and all tools to enable the Workday strategy
  • Conduct current model assessment to collect current state Operating Model information from countries for input
  • Define future state operating model based on overall strategy and analysis of information collected from current model definition assessment
  • Define talent value proposition, critical workforce segments, maturity assessment and prioritize talent investments
  • Create roadmap and action plan as well as identify barriers and enablers
  • Design the performance review approach and supplemental performance mechanisms such as feedback, coaching, check in, and goal setting templates and processes and policies
  • Design, vet and socialize competency, potential rating and succession approach
  • Ensure that all processes being reviewed align to the Talent COE's organizational vision and solution
  • Represent the global vision on behalf of the Talent Management Processes and Functionality
  • Partner with Deloitte to provide inputs into design activities
  • Assist in the Talent Management configuration validation and take on ownership longer-term

  • Undergraduate degree required; Advanced degree in any of the following disciplines preferred: Industrial & Organizational Psychology, organizational behavior or organizational development
  • Strong executive presence including ability to influence and interact with people at all levels
  • Proven ability and credibility working effectively and collaboratively within complex organizations
  • Business acumen coupled with strong analytical, organizational, research and communication skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management skills / experience managing projects and schedules to successful completion
  • Excellent collaboration skills and commitment to building trusted relationships with partners
