Sr Learning Specialist, Team Coaching Center of Excellence, Prudential Advisors (Virtual/Remote)

Prudential Advisors is presently looking for a Senior Learning Specialist for the Team Coaching Center of Excellence (COE) the has two key areas of responsibility. The primary one is the facilitation, delivery, and consultative activities of the Team Coaching Center of Excellence curriculum and training and development events for Advisors and Management. The secondary, but as important, responsibility is the review, participation in the designing of, and updating of the producer and management curriculum, training processes, and key consultative development initiatives through the Team Coaching Center of Excellence on a national scope.

The Senior Learning Specialist reports directly to the Director, Team Coaching COE.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Identify gaps in skills and knowledge in the tools, curriculum, and training processes for the Team Coaching COE on a national scope
  • Communicates these gaps, recommends and implements solutions partnering with the Director, Team COE, the Curriculum design team, and Subject Matter Experts
  • Focuses on the achieving the performance objectives and metrics, on a national scope, for the Team Coaching COE in partnership with the Director
  • Synthesizes information from the metrics and a variety of sources to maintain an overall picture of the centralized learning organization's Team Coaching COE efforts and impact in the field, recommends and facilitates solutions when problems are identified
  • Participates, as a member of the Talent Development's Senior Learning Specialists team, understanding the strategic goals of the Learning and Business Consulting organization and the Team Coaching COE on a national scope, providing feedback on how the Team COE can optimally support the achievement of these goals
  • Communicate key issues to the Director to identify additional strategies, curriculum, and learning events, that would be needed at a national scope for producer and management development in the field
  • Ensures the utilization and implementation of all training methods at a national level (with a heavy emphasis on technology and virtual tools) based upon the field needs, Team Coaching Center of Excellence training topics, Learning and Business Consulting Group, and Prudential Advisors initiatives and key strategies
  • Ensures that there is strong collaboration with the field and Team Coaching COE on a national scope that provide for the development of Financial Professional's skills and knowledge
  • Working with the Director ensures that the field leadership understand how the COE supports the achievement of the firm's goals and objectives
  • Partners with all Centers of Excellence Senior Learning Specialists and home office Subject Matter Expert teams for cross training in each Center of Excellence and the execution nationally of the training strategy and curriculum of the Centers of Excellence

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Industry designations a plus
  • 3 years plus experience with working on remote teams, facilitating and coordinating training and development processes, and projects for Advisor and Leadership Teams
  • Experience facilitating and delivering training to advisor teams and leadership teams who are both experienced and inexperienced as well as coaching and consulting with them on the execution and implementation of the training and their strategic team plans
  • Experiencing working on centralized training teams who are specialists that support the field
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Analytical skills and experience in identifying gaps in skills and knowledge
  • Strong relationship building, partnering, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to recommend and implement creative solutions for skill and process improvements
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills especially in the area of virtual training and development
  • Demonstrated ability and skills to operate independently on a national scope
  • Series 6 or 7, 63 or 65 or 66 and Life and Health licenses required
