PGIM Agricultural Investments (PAI) is a business within PGIM Real Estate Finance, a wholly owned subsidiary of Prudential Financial, Inc. With a 100-year history in the agricultural space, Prudential's overall agriculture business provides management of real estate investments (equity) and lending in the agricultural sector throughout the United States and currently manages $4.5 billion of agricultural mortgages and over $1.2 billion of real estate investments. PGIM has a goal of growing its assets under management.

PAI, the equity investment management business, has an opening for an Investment Analyst in our Orlando, FL office.

The Analyst works with both the Acquisition and Asset Management & Operations Department professionals in the evaluation of prospective agricultural properties in the Southeast and Central Regions to acquire and of existing investments to enhance returns, as well as conducting various industry research and analysis projects.

The individual we are seeking must be highly motivated with a blend of several abilities including excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills as well as an ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks. In addition to the analytical skill set, the individual must have good interpersonal skills with an interest in networking and business development, a major responsibility for eventually becoming an Investment Professional. The candidate must have a strong desire to learn, and the ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment. Some travel may be required.

  1. B.S. in business, agricultural finance, economics, or equivalent curriculum required.
  2. Experience in production agriculture or other agricultural business is preferable.
  3. Prior Experience in Real Estate Investments is preferred
  4. 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  5. Strong research, data gathering, and organization skills.
  6. Proficiency with MS Office applications; particularly excel.

    The Analyst will report directly to the Director of Asset Management in the Southeastern Region and may work with other investment staff throughout the company and country.
