Office 365 Compliance Engineer

The Prudential Groupware Services team is looking for an Office 365 Compliance Engineer to work with Global Technology service providers to review O365 product offerings and determine the controls needed to maintain our compliance and regulatory posture. Includes support of MS O365 Security and Compliance Center production and pre-production tenants. Core responsibilities include the review of new O365 product offerings, review of existing product design updates and maintenance of existing controls. Candidate must have knowledge of power shell scripting, Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive administration. Hours include core business hours, availability for weekend application releases, as well as contributions to 7x24 On-Call coverage. Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Document O365 product offerings and artifacts that are created
  • Manage aspects of ATP Safe link Safe Attachment
  • Maintain O365 Audit and Reporting
  • Analyze audit log searches
  • Review and act as needed on compliance reports
  • Support High Tech investigations on eDiscovery searches
  • Raise and manage to completion MS support tickets.
  • O365 design and architecture consultation with developers and project managers
  • Review and schedule the rollout of new O365 compliance and security offerings
  • Cross O365 support including Teams, Skype and Exchange

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, CIS, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Certification in Microsoft 365 Security Administration preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience with Exchange and\or O365
  • Experience with MS Power shell scripting
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Knowledge O365 Security and Compliance center
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to excel working independently as part of a geographically dispersed team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting project objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
