The Manager, Learning Strategy role is responsible for Prudential's approach to defining and enabling critical capabilities at the Enterprise level. The role provides support to the VP, Learning Strategy in enabling business leaders to devise and execute on their people development priorities to advance their business strategies and support a community of People Development experts throughout the enterprise.

Responsibilities:
Support strategic engagement with business clients to identify root causes and skill gaps, and provide effective advisory in their learning strategy, including desired outcomes and metrics

Manage capability approach update and related tools to enable business and function leaders, transformation office and HRBPs to identify critical capabilities, roles and derived skills

Leverage insights gained from critical capability work to architect learning solutions at the enterprise level that include self-service delivery for direct access to development assets by employees (Leader of Self/Others/Enterprise)

Gain buy-in from VP, Learning Strategy, business/function leaders, transformation office and HRBPs as appropriate to ensure learning solutions address skills development at enterprise level

Partner with EC&D Capabilities and Learning Experience team to provide thought partnership on development and deployment of learning solutions . Leverage insights gained from these teams to refine learning strategy.

Leverage internal & external network to keep abreast of business strategy and learning context

Partner with other learning groups enterprise-wide to understand and maximize the learning experience at business level, exchange best practices and make decisions on resourcing (including community governance)

Provide thought partnership on strategic design and execution of learning strategy through a network of qualified partners and external resources

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required; Advanced degree in any of the following disciplines preferred: MBA, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, organizational behavior or organizational development preferred

5 years of experience in a consulting environment - L&D experience required.
Understanding of organizational structure, and organizational design methodologies

Strong background in Talent Management and/or L&D specifics (such as Executive Development Managerial capabilities, L&D strategy) required

Experience with consulting projects in the organizational design/ L&D space

Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and translate strategy to practical solutions

Understanding of global outreach and local relevance

Experience working with data and utilizing analytical insights to inform strategic learning recommendations

Proven mastery and expertise in deriving skillset from the use of processes and frameworks such as organization capability design, change, competency modeling, and leadership frameworks

Superb relationship skills, working cross-functionally and developing relationship at all levels of the organization and across multiple locations (Domestic & International)

Strong executive presence including ability to influence and partner effectively at all levels within a complex organization

A passion for people development, catalyzing and driving change for impact

Highly organized with exceptional project management and execution skills

Flexible, innovative in a productive, growth-oriented and time-critical environment

Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
