PGIM Operations & Innovation
PGIM Operations & Innovation provides the operations and technology support that contributes to PGIM being a world-class investment manager.
We supply transaction-level support, generate and report investment results and ensure that our investment results are accurately reflected on our books and records.
The Investment Operations organization is part of PGIM Operations & Innovation and provides recordkeeping, accounting, reporting and technology services for the investment portfolios supporting the Insurance Companies as well as PGIM.
As an Investment Operations Associate within PGIM O&I, you will have the opportunity to interact with numerous internal partners including our Asset Management Finance & Operations teams, Corporate Marketing, Corporate Compliance, the Chief Investment Office, and Enterprise Risk.
Responsibilities include monthly and quarterly reporting of AUM&A (Assets Under Management & Administration) for Prudential Financial and PGIM as well as daily, weekly, and quarterly investment compliance reporting. In addition, the associate will report various TIC (Treasury International Capital) reports which are submitted to the Federal Reserve Bank of NY.
The compilation, review, and distribution of investment holdings for use in regulatory filings is also a function in this role.
The position is also responsible for Risk and Statutory limit compliance monitoring and reporting. Monitoring is completed utilizing information from multiple sources and various tests are performed to confirm if investment entities/portfolios comply with their respective limits. The results of these compliance tests are analyzed and subsequently distributed to business partners on a daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
The investment operations associate will develop the ability to independently identify, research, and resolve discrepancies within the reports and underlying data. Additional ad-hoc reporting needs may arise, as well as periodic involvement in various project workstreams.


Qualifications:

• Earned a degree with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting
• Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Possess a deep understanding of various investment security types
• Strong analytical, partnering and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel and Outlook
• Enjoy building efficiencies and suggesting improvements to existing processes
• Effective oral and written communication
• Able to meet deadlines with accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
• Strong attention to details
• Prior exposure to or knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus
• Any experience using Cognos, Tableau, or a similar reporting tool
