Description

The Manager, Pricing Analytics & Strategy will report to the VP, Strategic Pricing and will help define, implement and measure the impact of priceline.com's strategic Hotel pricing initiatives.

This is a data-intensive environment that requires a candidate with a passion for investigation and a strong desire to succeed, both personally and for the business.  This is a strategic thinker who can use data analysis methods, reporting tools, and strong SQL/database skills to identify customer and competitive trends, and turn them into opportunities for growth.

This candidate will work with other members of the Strategic Pricing team to seek out opportunities for growth within priceline's three Hotel products, model and recommend how to achieve that growth through pricing initiatives, and analyze the impact of those initiatives to the business.

This position first requires learning and absorbing the details of how priceline's opaque and retail businesses function, and how pricing fits into our growth objectives.  You will then perform in depth data analysis of large amounts of consumer transaction, site visit, and competitive data, then use that data to model the optimization of the respective pricing functions.
