POLITICO is seeking a senior-level editor to help drive our coverage of Washington. This is a demanding job for an editor with the skills needed to be a leader in a fast-paced environment. The editor will work collaboratively with a variety of teams to make sure our content breaks through on every platform. He or she will have a role shaping content at a high level. The job will require excellent communication, collaboration and organizational skills along with the ability to juggle a large number of projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in policy and politics, as well as experience with web, mobile and social media strategy. This person needs to be a strong, innovative journalist with a creative mind and eagerness to embrace changes in news.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an editor in a fast-paced news environment; excellent news judgment and a proven ability to work well with others under intense deadline pressure.
