Learning & Development Specialist (New Jersey)

Training Support

  • Will be responsible for working with the Learning & Development Manager in supporting and maintaining the training program for baseline certification on the Polaris platform of solutions
  • Will be the primary content developer and curator, utilizing various tools, such as Camtasia, SnagIt, Microsoft Office suite, etc. to prepare training materials on products, processes, industry knowledge, and other training topics as needed
  • Will be required to develop an assessment program (scorecard)
  • Learning & Development Specialist will be the Administrator for Learning Management System (LMS), managing user set up and maintenance, course set up and maintenance, necessary reporting and troubleshooting
  • Will be required to maintain a system to track and report training efforts
  • Candidate will be required to have a strong understanding of our products
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of the business

Administrative Support

  • Organize, schedule, and coordinate training sessions
  • Track and organize data in Excel, using filtering and formulas
  • Manage small projects for Sr. team
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Physical and Location Requirements:

  • Ability to work in our New Brunswick office on a regular basis (core hours are 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday)


  • Bachelor's Degree required in related field
  • 1-2+ years corporate training experience
  • Ability to adapt training styles to different cultures
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Must have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Process oriented, problem solving and quality focused attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven technical writing abilities
  • Team-oriented thinking with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and drive cross-functional and interdepartmental teams
  • This role will report to the Learning & Development Manager
