IT Business Application Senior Manager

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Work closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders to understand their business needs and implement solutions that support Point B's business strategy
  • Partner with IT colleagues to function as one IT team in supporting overall IT strategy and execution
  • Develop and maintain a business applications architecture and roadmap that aligns with Point B's strategic vision, business goals and technology direction
  • Lead the business applications group by defining, designing, implementing and supporting business process, governance and application systems to support business growth and drive a superior user experience
  • Monitor business applications budget and resources
  • Lead, motivate and support the development of business applications team members

What We Expect You've Already Done:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead an operational team and develop staff, including internal, external and remote team members by leveraging excellent relationship-building and partnership skills
  • Managed day-to-day business applications operations in a cloud-based environment, including triaging and prioritizing demand, managing communications and expectations key stakeholders, prioritizing projects, and managing team assignments to ensure efficiency
  • Managed third-party vendor resources efficiently and positively
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple project assignments, support multiple application suites, and flexibility with re-prioritization
  • Planned and managed large system implementations
  • 5+ years managing business and systems analysts in an enterprise IT function
  • 8+ years experience in IT roles with software development lifecycle and SaaS / cloud-based applications architecture design responsibilities
  • Proven success leading projects by utilizing PM methodologies/tools
  • Some experience working with consulting or professional services organizations desired
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required; degree in Business, Information Systems or related field preferred
