The Zuora Billing Systems Analyst is a key member of the Product Experience cross-functional team responsible for the design, architecture and implementation of Subscriptions and Billing solutions.  Our goal is to keep Zuora as productive, low-maintenance, flexible, and reliable as possible, all while supporting new capabilities across the enterprise.

What you’ll own:

  • Serve as subject matter expert in Zuora

  • Design and validate that the proposed solution architecture supports the stated and implied business requirements.

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of existing business application architecture, including integrations and data structures

  • Review technical team deliverables for compliance with architecture standards, guidelines and leverages best practices.

  • Articulate and present different point of views on various technologies.

  • Staying up to speed with emerging technologies through ongoing research, industry outreach, and internal PoCs

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Zuora functionality, customization and integration

  • Identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies required to support and improve the business process centered on the Zuora platform

  • Ensure the highest level of data accuracy in Zuora

  • Create reports in Zuora based on project requirements or as part of data integrity validation.

  • Create Workflows using Zuora Workflow tool

  • Take ownership of communicating to Zuora support to resolve system problems.

  • Research new payment methods supported and not supported in Zuora, and recommend the path for implementation.


Experience you’ll need:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience with Zuora delivering subscription and usage based billing solutions

  • Administrator-level knowledge of Zuora configurations, custom fields, and reporting

  • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce Zuora integrations is preferred.

  • Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up on new business customers, their business needs, and technologies.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, engineers and other members of the Business Technology team.

  • Proven record of troubleshooting and resolving issues with Zuora and related/connected financial and sales systems (Netsuite, Salesforce, etc…)

  • Highly organized with a personal method to manage multiple competing priorities without falling behind
