Pluralsight is seeking an international tax manager to oversee Pluralsight’s growing international compliance burden and to assist in the optimization of its international structure. With ever-changing tax law and increased cross-border scrutiny, Pluralsight’s need for a dedicated internal international tax professional continues to increase. As the international tax manager, you will be involved in furthering Pluralsight’s mission by optimizing the non-US tax function and by helping create a risk-managed, tax-efficient intercompany and go-to-market structure. You will work directly with the tax director and US tax team along with international senior leadership to create the future of the international tax function. Your creativity and initiative will help shape how we expand our business and influence throughout the world.

You recognize that every department in an organization is affected by tax in some way and are willing to connect with appropriate personnel to gain understanding of how tax affects their org. You have great communication skills and are able to explain complex issues to those not familiar with tax jargon.
What you’ll own:
Compliance process and execution for each of Pluralsight’s non-US jurisdictions. Analysis of risk areas and continued implementation of value-added tax (“VAT”) compliance processes. Relationships and primary communication with non-US consultants and service providers. Key input on international tax structuring, intercompany relationships, IP licensing, and tax impacts of international distribution of Pluralsight products. Key input on non-US statutory financial reporting and related tax disclosures. Primary communication with non-US revenue departments, including audit support.
