What’s the opportunity?

As the first hire in EMEA with this remit, the Marketing Strategy Analyst will partner closely with their direct leader the Head of Marketing SBO (Strategy and Business Operations) in additional to strong alignment and partnership with the Head of EMEA Operations, the CMO, and other members of the marketing and SBO teams to deliver results and help the company achieve its mission.

 

While leading various initiatives, you will gather, and synthesize and present insights to a variety of audiences in relation to the  relevant data to the company’s marketing initiatives and performance. You will provide data-driven insights and recommendations that will drive growth and change within the EMEA region. You will synthesize data to assess company and business unit performance, collaborate on cross functional projects, and drive operational improvements which will inform and direct and recommend future strategies within the region.

 

What will I be doing? 

  • Developing strategies for consistent and scalable metrics, reporting, testing, analysis, and forecasting to drive marketing decision making and enhance and clarify understanding of marketing performance in the region.

  • Identifying actionable insights and provide recommendations for marketing optimization and marketing budget allocation.

  • Building and managing detailed dashboards that report on traffic, leads, conversion, velocity, and ROI on a department, channel, and sub-channel level.

  • Communicating insights, storylines and recommendations clearly through a variety of mediums (verbal, slide, email, etc) to both a technical and non-technical audiences at various levels of seniority with the organisation.

  • Strong collaborating with the Head of Marketing SBO and the Head of EMEA Operations to deliver on strategic initiatives and special projects, both within marketing organisation as well as the broader SBO organization.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in marketing, analytics, strategy, finance, consulting, investment banking, or private equity

  • Data driven, results oriented problem solver

  • Hypothesis driven and willing to solve analytical business problems with data

  • Comfortable with PowerPoint, Tableau (or other reporting tools), Excel and able to build a robust storyline and recommendations

  • Skilled at working as part of a cross-functional team within a matrixed organisation with the ability to proactively deliver without direct supervision

  • A passion for solving tough problems in an independent manner, with the ability to prioritise work as it maps to value add for the business.
