Job Description

You will define key opportunities, and pull in support from our UX, Creative, Product, Content, Ops, and Marketing teams to deliver innovative web experiences for our prospects and customers. You will own the vision for Pluralsight web properties, prioritizing inbound business requirements and distilling them into actionable roadmaps. You will work with talented cross-functional teams to deliver site enhancements, testing where appropriate, and ensuring that the projects accomplish their business objectives.

  • Use data, customer and competitive insights, and industry best practices to identify opportunities to create innovative capabilities and compelling user experiences
  • Create business cases for site enhancements, clearly identifying the goals, KPI, and targets for proposed initiatives
  • Define and kick-start new initiatives and site enhancements, clearly identifying the KPI and targets, and see through to successful execution and on-time delivery
  • Assess and report on the results of initiatives vs their expected impact
  • Drive planning and vision refinement sessions with cross functional product and marketing teams
  • Discover, validate, and document business and technical requirements
  • Work with user experience professionals on site structure, customer journeys, UX flows, and page designs
  • Present convincingly to executives and stakeholders, and communicate with business, technical, creative, and analytical partners effectively
  • Understand global market requirements and personas for B2C and B2B audiences and create compelling site experiences for both in prioritized regions around the world

What you’ll own: 

  • Product owner of web experiences including www.pluralsight.com, javascript.com, pluralsightone.org, learn.pluralsight.com
  • Product owner for net new digital transactions
  • Marketing representative on transaction engine committee, providing input and priorities on net new, renewal, and expansion transaction roadmaps
  • Deliver strategy and user stories for development of pluralsight.com, net new digital transactions (B2B, B2C), javascript.com, pluralsightone.org
  • Develop and maintain a digital experience roadmap for site expansion and improvements including personalization, optimization, content and creative development
  • Communicate to and manage priorities for development/engineering teams across pluralsight.com and related web services (i.e. dev ops, data, creative, product, content, product marketing, web checkout)
  • Project manager for the digital experience team managing team’s time and priorities
  • Deliver improved conversion rates on pluralsight.com and web checkout through optimization testing
  • Align site design and content to SEO and paid media strategies and watch for new opportunities
  • Work with acquisition and lifecycle teams to optimize landing pages and identify new customer acquisition and renewal, expansion optimization opportunities
  • Implement and manage CMS, campaign tracking, web analytics, optimization tools, digital tag management, and quality assurance tools across web properties
  • Mentor and manage a team of product managers, user experience designers and software developers
  • Empower the organization to create and publish content on pluralsight.com and other web properties against brand and digital marketing best practices
  • Maintain a familiarity with new technologies and new opportunities for web development, optimization and personalization
  • Develop reporting dashboards and communicate KPIs to the business across pluralsight.com, web checkout and optimization testing

Experience you’ll need:

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
  • 12-15+ years of experience in digital marketing including experience with creating AB testing strategies, messaging, offer and promotion optimization
  • Experience with Web CMS systems (i.e. SiteCore, Adobe Experience Manager) required
  • Experience with AB testing technology (i.e. Adobe Target or Optimizely) required
  • Experience with web analytics applications (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) required
  • Experience with marketing applications including CMS, CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com) and Marketing Automation (i.e. Eloqua, Marketo) required
  • Experience managing a digital marketing and software developers required
  • Experience with ecommerce businesses or apps a plus
  • Experience with subscription-based software or apps a plus
  • Experience with integration with web apps a plus
  • Experience with BI software (Tableau, Domo, etc.) a plus
  • Interactive agency, online marketing, or display media marketing a plus
  • Product marketing experience a plus
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technical language experience a plus
