What you’ll own:
Follow-up and develop new business opportunities within all market segments
Qualify and transition opportunities to Account Manager
Outbound prospecting to companies via cold calling and email
Follow up on inbound leads, campaign inquiries and provide detailed feedback on the success of each campaign to the digital and field marketing groups
Trade show pre and post support, in effort to prospect and follow-up on all captured leads
Leverage your teammates (Sales Management and Account Managers) to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities in regional areas
Research target accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce.com
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Pluralsight platform
Capture Industry Trends and competitive Intelligence in the CRM system
Identify and profile customers in a natural, conversational way.(i.e., address, fax number, e-mail address)
Who you are:
A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and ideally sales development at multiple executive levels within an organization within B2B sales
Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong written skills
Proven track record achieving measurable inside sales goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data in a CRM system is required
Ability to work in a high energy sales team environment and is a team player
Ability to effectively communicate with senior level decision makers required, both verbal and written
Experience you’ll need:
Ideally educated to Bachelor's level, minimum High School Diploma/GED
At least one year experience in Sales Development
Experience with lead generation, Sales, and/or Marketing
Ideally minimum of 2 yrs' solutions orientated selling within B2B
Ideally high volume contact/campaign sales experience
Excellent presentation skills
Proficient in the use of databases ideally experience of using CRM's, namely Salesforce.com. Strongly demonstrates confidence in using LinkedIn as an effective sales tool
