Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide tax consulting services to state and local taxes (SALT), including income, franchise, sales and use, gross receipts, and personal property taxes.
  • Serve as a team member on a number of client service engagements including potential involvement with completion of federal income tax returns for a limited selection of engagements.
  • Focus efforts on managing the team and key client staff members to effectively meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Develop client presentations and participate in selling opportunities.

The qualifications.

  • 3-5 years of tax experience in public accounting with a focus on SALT.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in tax research and planning.
  • Qualified individuals must either reside in or near the Chicago area or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity. This position may require some local, national, and occasional international travel.
