Product Manager, Search Ads

Pinterest is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our fast growing Monetization team to focus on Search Advertising. Over 150 million people a month use Pinterest to plan everything from tonight's dinner recipe to next year's travel adventures around the world. These users do over 2 billion searches a month on Pinterest, and most of them are for products and services people want to buy. Pinterest is in a unique position to marry advertiser and user value in way that hasn't been achieved before with visually engaging ads and unique targeting methods that go beyond traditional keywords and audiences. In this role you will be responsible for developing products that maximize value for advertisers and users.

What you'll do:

  • Lead product vision, strategy, development and execution across a number of products and teams at Pinterest, focusing on advertiser enablement and success on the platform
  • Work closely with engineering, product marketing, sales, operations to deliver the right solutions for advertisers and optimize our current solutions
  • Work closely with design, data analytics, and user research to identify and experiment with ad formats, targeting and measurement methods that are unique to performance
  • Partner with business and corp dev for opportunities to accelerate product roadmap and build a 3rd party ecosystem supporting advertising on Pinterest
  • Evangelize your product vision to senior management and diverse stakeholders through customer research, data analysis and the strength of your convictions

What we're looking for:

  • At least 4 years of product management or related experience at fast growing companies
  • Deep understanding of search engines, ad auctions and the search advertising space
  • Bias toward action and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills with experience giving strategic presentations
  • Technical education (CS, EE, etc.) or equivalent work experience
