Product Manager, New Ad Products

Pinterest is looking for an experienced Product Manager to focus on leading new ad products including video advertising for our partners. Over 175 million people a month use Pinterest to plan everything from tonight's dinner recipe to next year's travel adventures around the world. 75% of content on Pinterest is from blogs, brands and businesses. Building new ad products at Pinterest is exciting because ads are simply content that our Users (aka Pinners) want to discover and take action on. In this role, you will own coming up with new ad products that not only meet the objectives of our advertising partners, but also improve the experience of our Pinners. Video will be a big part of your portfolio, as it plays a growing role in inspiring Pinners to try new ideas.

What you'll do :

  • Lead vision, strategy, and execution for video ads and more broadly new ad products at Pinterest
  • Work closely with cross functional partners in engineering, research, data science, sales marketing, finance and other product groups to develop a roadmap and deliver on business goals
  • Evangelize your product vision to senior management and diverse stakeholders through customer research, data analysis and the strength of your convictions
  • Represent Pinterest to our advertising partners and identify products that could help address their objectives

What we're looking for :

  • At least 7 years of product management or related experience at fast growing companies
  • Experience building engaging consumer experiences
  • Understanding of the advertising ecosystem
  • Experience working on video advertising is a plus
  • Strong technical, analytical ability, and penchant for data
  • Bias toward action and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills with experience giving strategic presentations
  • Technical education (CS, EE, etc.) or equivalent work experience
