Compensation Manager

We’re looking for a Compensation Manager to help make everyone who works at Pinterest feel invested in our success. You’ll be responsible for all things compensation, including base salary and merit budget design, sales compensation, equity-based programs, and any other cool stuff you want to help us innovate on. You’ll stay connected in the market on what’s cutting edge and ensure we’re staying ahead of the curve. You’ll also be an expert at making things simple for managers and employees to understand.

What you’ll do:

  • Help to develop compensation programs, including short- and long-term incentives, reward and recognition programs, benchmarking, survey analysis, analytics development, new technologies and manager and employee training
  • Work with with HRBPs and clients to solve challenging, real-time compensation problems
  • Stay ahead of emerging market trends in compensation practices and introduce them here at Pinterest

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years of directly related experience in compensation, including experience in salary structure design, sales comp design, and implementation of broad-based short and long-term compensation programs
  • Experience in evaluation and benchmarking of a variety of business and functional positions
  • Previous experience in a client-facing compensation role, managing projects on a large scale
  • Effective experience interacting with and influencing at all levels of an organization
  • Strong expertise in quantitative analysis in Excel
