Benefits Program Manager

We’re looking for a creative Benefits Program Manager to help make everyone who works at Pinterest feel inspired to live healthy and fulfilled lives. You’ll work on not just the day to day benefits administration to ensure all of our programs run smoothly but will be managing benefits programs with a strategic lens to ensure optimal performance from our vendors. You’re crucial in the overall People Experience being the first point of contact for benefits questions and new hire orientation.

What you’ll do:

  • Point of contact for day to day employee benefits questions including presenting at the the new hire orientation and resolving benefits eligibility file errors and questions
  • Subject matter expert in various benefits programs with a strategic lens on growing these programs to meet the diverse needs of Pinterest employees including leave of absence program
  • Stay abreast on all benefits related compliance notices including various federal, state and city ordinances
  • Manage the Benefits Portal and execute benefits communications as a part of Total Rewards strategy and work with the People Partners and employees to solve challenging real-time benefits problems
  • Project manage annual Open Enrollment and various projects as assigned

What we’re looking for:

  • Over 5 years of directly related experience in managing US Benefits, including health plans, life and disability, COBRA, ACA, leave administration, and international benefits
  • Experience with Workday Benefits and understanding of Benefits enrollment systems. Knowledge of Workday Benefits is a plus. Strong expertise in quantitative analysis in Excel
  • Proven capability in managing projects, including communications and change management. Ability to drive improvements and continuously simplify processes with compliance in mind
  • A problem solver that strives for excellence, inquisitive and excited to try/learn new things and comfortable with ambiguity, uncertainty and change
  • A team player with positive, can-do attitude and takes initiative to help with anything
