Job Description

As the Supplier Audit Manager you will be responsible for managing the Supplier Quality Audit Program, guiding the SQ organization towards continuous improvement in supplier auditing. The majority of your time will be spend at supplier sites in China for the performance of quality audits, so you will be travelling very frequently. You will be part of the Supplier Sustainability and Audit team in the Supplier Quality organization.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Manages the supplier quality audit program
  • Executes quality audits as a lead auditor, combining with training on the job of SQ colleagues in the audit team
  • Defines, implements and continuously improves supplier quality audit process
  • Sets supplier audit requirements to suppliers and products
  • Deploys supplier audit improvements into the Supplier Quality and wider Procurement organization
  • Trains Procurement, Supplier Quality and suppliers in audit performance
  • Ensures Philips Lighting is able to meet legal requirements (e.g. UK Slavery Act, RoHS, REACH, local laws) and company policies (SSD, RSL, Supplier Quality)
  • Engages relevant internal stakeholders; suppliers, SAMs, CTs, Sustainability department
  • Builds relations and cooperation with relevant customers
  • Works closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with customer sustainability and quality requirements
  • Accountable for quick but complete resolution of incidents and complaints
  • Become an experienced Supplier Sustainability Auditor, to be able to perform resolving audits in the Supplier Sustainability Audit Program

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Quality, Sustainability, Procurement, Business or Operations management
  • Several years as a Sustainability Professional for a global (multi business) technology company with knowledge of improvements in processes and products as well as experience in supplier engagement activities
  • Auditor qualifications and related experience
  • Experienced as a Program Manager
  • Thorough understanding of Philips Lighting Quality Audit tools (PPAP, VDA, Sustainability etc.)
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and problem solving
  • Training experience in Quality tools
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong communicator in as well Chinese as English language
