KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports implementation & continuous improvement of the Lighting Production System
Leads all entities of plant in collaboration with department managers (Production, Engineering, HR, Purchasing, Finance..)
Sets up goals and metrics to lead the mftg orgn.
Delivers products on time with high factory and supplier yields
Maintains commitment to environmental regulations.
Executes plan to reduce costs.
Prepares investment plans
Ensures decreasing product field failure rates.
Maintains commitment to quality regulations.
Supervises, selects, develops, coaches and evaluates managing personnel to ensure plant efficiency (incl. optimum application of the Lighting Production System)
15+ years experience in production, including management of production unit (line), Supply chain, and Continuous Improvement activities
5+ years of exposure to process engineering activities, in relevant areas
5+ years of direct people management with min 3 years of global experience
QUALIFICATION: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engg/Mech or a related field. Masters in operations management
Drives Operational Excellence
Possesses a strong working knowledge of manufacturing
Managerial skills and stress management; able to balance the needs of multiple users.
Has a strong understanding of organization's products and services.
Knowledge of relationship to other disciplines for efficient production
Knowledge of environmental, safety and quality regulations
Deep understanding of Lighting Production System
