An opportunity has now arisen for a proactive sales professional to join our National OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) team. Based in Melbourne, this is a key customer-facing role where you will have ownership of a number of large accounts with additional scope to develop new business.

Your responsibilities

Reporting to our National Sales OEM Manager, your time will be divided equally between account management and new business development, with key accountabilities to include:

  • Building and fostering relationships with key accounts to maximise sales and profitability
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of customer requirements with an aim to define and execute on account strategies to drive growth for both Philips and the customer
  • Cultivating and developing new OEM partner relationships to expand Philips' footprint in the OEM market
  • Collaborating with internal Philips' teams to deliver best in class products and a high level of service to customers

We are looking for

Without a doubt, you are someone with proven experience in sales and are familiar with the OEM market in Australia. You understand the value of working with customers to provide solutions, rather than just products.

You are commercially astute with proven experience in managing a sales pipeline and are disciplined in working towards quarterly and annual objectives. Your technical understanding of technology and integration is well developed, yet you are eager to learn more!

You are someone who takes initiative, is flexible and applies passion to your daily work. Most importantly, you are excited about the lighting industry and the possibilities of what light can deliver, just as much as we are!
