Key Account Manager- Lighting, Walmart

For employment consideration candidates must have strategic business development experience at Walmart Corporate HQ mass retailer level

This is a work from home position that can be seated anywhere in the surrounding

Bentonville AR area.

Your challenge:

We challenge you to analyze customer's needs and utilize solution based selling techniques to demonstrate the value of Philips Lighting portfolio while growing consumer retail channel account at Walmart.

Your role:

Lead and manage all key account activities and communications internally and externally for Walmart including

New product presentations: Market rationale, positioning, retail price, merchandising and promotion recommendations

Planning, Forecasting and supply coordination with Walmart and Philips planning teams

Retail link - utilizing, managing and educating where needed. Using as a tool for monitoring and controlling key activities.

Understanding all customer requirements and being the voice of the customer internally at Philips.

Driving sales for key core product groups at Philips including Hue Home Systems, LED and Conventional Lighting.

Creating and managing annual business plans to deliver targets.

Create framework for expansion and growth using principles for Key Account Management.

Enhance and drive relationships vertically and horizontally throughout the account

We are looking for:

Bachelor's Degree and/or MBA or equivalent is preferred in marketing and or a business discipline.

Consumer Retail Mass Market sales experience, preferably with Walmart

5 years of sales experience in a fast paced technology industry in a consumer domain

5 years of proven track record in sales target achievements

Strategic business development experience at a Corporate HQ mass retailer level

Experienced and skilled in reviewing and producing business strategies, recommendations and cost-benefit analysis.

A proven track record in customer relationship building

Proven ability and track record of closing deals.

Existing knowledge/relationships across senior levels within the industry

Strategic "thinker" and understands and sees the "big picture"

High level of communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Solid understanding of the business development cycle.
