Your challenge

Would you like to join the world class Talent Acquisition Team of Philips Lighting? Here, you will be responsible for recruiting for all the Internship requests from hiring managers of Philips Lighting in the Netherlands. You will be part of a team of experienced and passionate recruitment professionals and have the chance to develop valuable experience in the field of recruitment!

Your responsibilities

Within the role of Talent Acquisition Intern, you will provide recruitment support to our customers (hiring managers), helping them with all their intern hiring needs. Among other things, you will:

  • Full lifecycle recruitment for all internships based in the Netherlands, including:
  • support the hiring managers with starting up the hiring process
  • attract and pre-screen suitable candidates
  • ensure timely and accurate updates to both the candidates and the hiring managers
  • guide the hiring manager during the contracting and onboarding phase
  • Organizing meetings / events for current interns of Philips Lighting
  • You will also be involved in the branding of the Internship positions within Philips Lighting
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team with different other projects

Your team

Philips Talent Acquisition is a Center of Expertise within our HR organization. In the Talent Acquisition Team, Talent Acquisition Consultants, Sourcing Specialists, Recruitment Marketing Specialists and a Support Team work closely together to hire the best people for Philips Lighting. Our team is young, dynamic, and full of enthusiastic people willing to help you out when needed.

The Internship takes place in Eindhoven and will last 6 months. You will have the perfect opportunity to see several aspects of recruitment, selection, and HR in a real business environment.

To be successful in this Internship, we are looking for someone who

  • Is currently studying towards a HBO Bachelor, WO Bachelor or WO Master in Human Resource Studies or similar
  • Is customer focused and has good communication skills in English
  • Is capable of working independently in an accountable and accurate manner, is reliable, proactive, enthusiastic
  • Can start the 1st of September, for a period of minimum 6 months

Internship conditions:

  • Students on work placement / final-year study assignment are paid a work placement / final-year study assignment allowance and depending on his/her situation an allowance towards rented accommodation
  • Students who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work
  • The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
  • Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)
